The Boardwalk of Trails - minus the Food
Yes, there are excursions that do not always include a dining experience. I love eating out - would do it every day if it was an option.
In this story, the experience was BOARDerline amazing minus the dining out part - which will hopefully happen the next go around.
One of my favorite walking trails is the THE LITTLE POND BOARDWALK at The White Memorial Foundation Litchfield Connecticut. The loop is 1.3 miles and is great for all ages, (dogs allowed with a leash).
WHY is this my favorite? It’s easy, the view is nice, dirt is cool, but a BOARDWALK in my mind is cooler. I also have a fond memory of my family, including my Dad walking on this very trail two years ago.
The next time I go, I would prefer food to be INvolved. This is where YOU come IN!
Can you offer me some of your dining out suggestions with a bit of detail, (the where and why)?
